Real Madrid set to bring £90million Eden Hazard transfer forward to January after major development at Chelsea

Real Madrid are reportedly ready to try and clinch the transfer of Chelsea forward Eden Hazard in a £90million deal to go through for the summer.
Spanish outlet Diario Gol claims Chelsea’s move to sign Christian Pulisic from Borussia Dortmund has motivated Real’s interest.

A move was confirmed yesterday for Pulisic to join Chelsea in the summer, spending the rest of this season back on loan at Dortmund, and the USA international could be an ideal long-term replacement for Hazard.

The Belgian’s future at Stamford Bridge has been in doubt for some time now, with his contract due to expire at the end of next season.
Diario Gol suggest Madrid may now sense an opportunity to get a move for Hazard wrapped up for the summer, with the 27-year-old similarly remaining at Stamford Bridge for the remainder of this season.

The report claims the Spanish giants will try to get a deal done at around £90m, which could well prove a real bargain for a player of his calibre.
A signing like Hazard in attack makes sense as a priority for Los Blancos after the sale of Cristiano Ronaldo to Juventus in the summer.

Official: Real Madrid sack Julen Lopetegui, New successor named in club statement

Real Madrid have announced that they have sacked Julen Lopetegui, with Santiago Solari taking his place on the bench for the time being.

The Spanish giants confirmed the decision in an official club statement, citing that the quality in the squad and the results obtained so far this season are not in line with their expectations.

Further, it adds that Solari will take temporary charge for training on Tuesday, but it remains to be seen for how long he remains at the helm.

Madrid currently sit in ninth place in La Liga having lost as many games as they’ve won so far this season while conceding 14 goals in just 10 outings.

Their recent form has been dire, winning just one of their last seven games in all competitions as they went five games without a win while scoring just one goal in that run.
Further, they looked far from convincing against Plzen last week in their 2-1 win, and that was swiftly followed by their heavy loss at Barcelona at the weekend in El Clasico as Lopetegui appeared to be at real risk of losing his job.

That was seemingly the final straw for club president Florentino Perez who has now opted to make a change in the hope that Solari and the long-term appointment will be able to get Real Madrid back on track in the near future.

It caps a dismal stint in charge for Lopetegui who only arrived at the Bernabeu this past summer. However, with the lofty expectations set at the club following Zinedine Zidane’s tenure coupled with Cristiano Ronaldo’s exit, it was always going to be difficult for him.

Real Madrid move a step closer to £88million transfer after major player decision

Real Madrid president Florentino Perez is reportedly growing increasingly confident his side will win the race for the transfer of Manchester United midfielder Paul Pogba.

According to Don Balon, the £88million-rated France international would favour a move to Real over Barcelona due to the likelihood of him getting more playing time in Madrid.

Pogba has not exactly fulfilled his potential during his United career so far, but remains regarded as an elite talent who could shine under the right manager and perhaps with better players around him.

Don Balon states the 25-year-old remains set on leaving Old Trafford, and Madrid chief Perez now just feels he needs to negotiate with United as he feels he has everything done as far as the player is concerned.

This report quite directly contradicts what was written in the Daily Mail earlier today, however, with their report stating both that Pogba would like a move to Barcelona, but that United currently look unlikely to sell.

It remains to be seen if Los Blancos will find this deal as straightforward as Perez seems to think.

Huge transfer boost for Real Madrid: Euro giants ready to open transfer talks regarding €250M superstar

Real Madrid have been handed a huge transfer boost, after it was reported that PSG are ready to open negotiations regarding Brazilian superstar Neymar.

This is according to Don Balon, who note that the French giants are willing to open talks with Los Blancos regarding the former Barcelona forward, and that the player could cost Real around €250M.

The report also notes that PSG want Real to include Vinicius Jr in a deal for Neymar, a deal that may be worth Los Blancos agreeing to given how young the Brazilian ace is.

With Vinicus Jr being just 18 years old, it may be worth Real including him in a deal for Neymar, as it’s unknown at this point how good the youngster is going to be in the future.
Neymar is one of the best players on the planet, and Real may have a perfect replacement for Cristiano Ronaldo, who left the club this summer just gone, in Neymar should he move to the Spanish capital.

The Brazilian superstar has already shown during his time with Barcelona that he has what it takes to cut it against the best teams that La Liga has to offer.
It seems like Neymar's potential move to Real Madrid may be edging ever closer

And because of this, and the player’s overall amazing ability, getting him in for cash and Vinicius should be an absolute no-brainer for Florentino Perez and Co.

Real Madrid line up cash-plus-player offer to beat Chelsea to £90million transfer

Real Madrid are reportedly discussing the possibility of offering Luka Modric to Inter Milan to help them seal the transfer of Mauro Icardi, also a target for Chelsea.

The Argentina international has shone in Serie A, attracting plenty of interest from top clubs around Europe in recent times as a big move is surely on the cards for him in the near future.

The latest from Diario Gol is that Florentino Perez could approve of a bid of around €40million-plus-Modric to Inter to help bring Icardi to the Bernabeu.

This could be bad news for Chelsea, however, with the £90million-rated San Siro hit-man thought to be Maurizio Sarri’s preferred target to replace the struggling Alvaro Morata at Stamford Bridge, according to the Sun.

The Blues surely need a signing of that calibre up front if they are to continue their strong start to the season under Sarri.

Morata and Olivier Giroud have just two league goals between them, meaning Eden Hazard has had to carry the side somewhat.
If Madrid end up concluding this smart swap deal it could be ideal for them as they’re also struggling up front following the sale of Cristiano Ronaldo to Juventus in the summer.

€110million star feels unwanted at Barcelona so opens transfer talks with Real Madrid

Inter Milan striker Mauro Icardi has reportedly opened talks over a transfer to Real Madrid after feeling like he would not be wanted at Barcelona.

The Argentina international had been keen on returning to the club where he spent some time as a youngster, but is now negotiating with Madrid instead as Lionel Messi is not at all keen on the potential signing and he senses he would not be welcome at the Nou Camp, according to Don Balon.

Icardi has shone in Serie A and could be ideal for Real’s needs anyway, with Cristiano Ronaldo leaving for Juventus in the summer and Karim Benzema looking past  his best.
The 25-year-old has scored 112 goals in 190 games for current club Inter, showing he could no doubt fit in well alongside better players in a bigger team.

With service from the likes of Gareth Bale, Isco and co., Icardi could no doubt flourish at the Bernabeu if his move were to go through.

At present, Don Balon suggest Madrid would ideally like to get his asking price down, though if they cannot they would be prepared to pay his €110million release clause to finalise the deal.
The report adds that the player wants out of the San Siro, but that Messi does not believe Barcelona need a striker, having had a poor relationship with Icardi anyway during their time together with Argentina.

Video: PSG’s Kylian Mbappe sends Ousmane Dembele all the way back to Dortmund with outrageous skill

Paris Saint-Germain star Kylian Mbappe is so good he’s even destroying his own team-mates in training.

Okay, that’s a bit of an exaggeration, but my word Mbappe doesn’t half send him off on a wild goose chase with this deceptive trick.

The French teenager has been a joy to watch on the pitch since his breakthrough at Monaco a couple of seasons ago and he’s clearly just as destructive in training sessions

Real Madrid given major hope of securing incredible £400million double transfer after developments at Chelsea and Tottenham

Real Madrid look to have been given hope of securing the stunning double transfer of Chelsea forward Eden Hazard and Tottenham striker Harry Kane.

According to El Confidencial, both players are among the top targets in attack for the Spanish giants after their tough start to the season, which has seen them go four games in a row without scoring.

This follows the sale of Cristiano Ronaldo to Juventus in the summer – a move which increasingly looks a big mistake, especially as so far no truly big name has come in to replace the Portuguese goal machine up front.

Hazard and Kane have both been among the best players in the Premier League for some time and could be an ideal fit, with El Confidencial explaining that Real’s hopes of signing both players look to have been given a boost.

With Hazard, the Belgian is stalling on signing a new contract at Stamford Bridge and has made it clear he’s tempted by a move to the Bernabeu, while Kane is a player who may have to be sold as Spurs could face financial troubles after their poor start in the Champions League, according to El Confidencial.

‘Real Madrid is the best club in the world. I don’t want to lie today. It is my dream since I was a kid,’ Hazard was quoted in the Daily Mirror yesterday.

‘I was dreaming about this club. We will see. I don’t want to talk about this every day. I don’t have time but we will talk about my future soon.’

Back in the summer, the Daily Mail claimed Real were looking at both Hazard and Kane at around £200million each, and it seems likely the pair would still command fees of that size.
That shouldn’t be a big problem for Florentino Perez, who has a history of signing the world’s biggest names during his reign as Madrid president.
