Deal Almost Agreed: Man United handed big blow in deal for extraordinary fantastic player as Superstar eye move

The management of Manchester United fear the club is being ‘priced out’ of a possible deal to keep David De Gea at Old Trafford with his representative demanding over £350,000 per week offer on the table.

The Spaniard has about 16 months remaining on his present contract at Manchester United after the Red Devils activated a one-year contract extension shortly before yuletide last year.

Manchester United had hoped to seal talks with the Spain international goalkeeper the summer before but the side’s poor league start forced the safe hand into reconsidering his future at the club.

The exit of Portuguese tactician Jose Mourinho has surely aided the side’s effort to convince him to remain but negotiations remain prolonged with the ex-Atletico Madrid star’s agent.

United board are ready to make the goalkeeper the highest paid safe hand in world football but his representatives are forcing a deal of about £400,000-weekly earned by Chilean international forward Alexis Sanchez, as per London Evening Standard.

The club hierarchy is now facing severe dilemma of either paying David De Gea’s wage demands and by so doing, breaking the club’s current salary structure or letting him to wind his current contract down before departing for free in 2020.

La Liga giants Real Madrid supposedly gave up their alleged chase of the Spaniard by signing Belgium international goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois the summer before but Ligue 1 giants Paris Saint-Germain are interested in signing the Spaniard.

PSG might possibly trump the club’s proposal, especially if the safe hand was brought in on a free that would comprise a big signing-on fee.
