According to reports, Premier League giants Manchester United are readying to make a bid for Roma star Justin Kluivert, with head coach Ole Gunnar Solskjaer thought to be a fan of his incredible talents.
The Norwegian was named United’s permanent manager few days ago, and so will now play a major role in reinforcing the team this summer window.
Having come out victorious in 15 matches of his 20 encounters in charge since he was appointed on a temporary basis back in December last year, this development will be a major challenge that the tactician must pass so as to prove that he can lead the Premier League giants to a great future.
As per Italian outlet Calciomercato, one of the summer targets being monitored by the Red Devils is Justin Kluivert, who has extremely struggled since signing for Serie A side AS Roma last summer transfer window.
Kluivert, 19, has managed only twice and created five assists in 28 matches for the Italian club this term, failing to perform to expectation that came with his transfer from Dutch side Ajax.
Notwithstanding, it has been a little stop-start for the youngster in Rome, and coupled with the change of manager and struggles for his side to get into the Serie A top four, it has led to a tough season for all concerned parties.
Without doubt, Kluivert is undoubtedly a talented footballer and still has his career ahead of him in the game, its important he consider the competition for playing opportunities at Old Trafford before moving to the Premier League club.
