Man United willing to spend ridiculous amount to sign 24-year-old

Spanish media outlets are reporting that English Premier League side Manchester United want to table an offer to convince Atletico Madrid midfield maestro Saul Niguez to join Manchester but its been claimed he would cost United a whopping £125 million.
Sometime in the month of March, reports indicated that defending English Premier League champions – Manchester City are edging very close to a swoop for the midfielder, with Spanish head coach Pep Guardiola seeing the 24-year-old creative midfielder as a long-term replacement to ageing South American midfielder Fernandinho.
As per ESPN, City are rather targeting youngster Rodri Hernandez, who plays with Saul at La Liga giants Atletico Madrid.
The Red Devils are after a key player to reinforce their midfield option and they feel he can do the job needed as United manager Ole Gunnar looks for an ideal pair for France international Paul Pogba in the middle of the park.
The Spaniard has been an attraction of the Red Devils for long, and he nearly joined before the Spanish club convened him to remain.
Saul extended his deal to the summer of 2026 where his buyout clause increased from about €80million to €150million.
But Solskjaer’s team face the tough task of convincing the player’s club to lower their demands as Atletico are demanding €150 million (£128million) buyout clause is agreed.
Saul, who has played 15 matches for his national side, is one of the best players of his present Atleti side and he has won 5 honours with the side.
Spain international midfielder Saul has spent the whole of his professional football career at Atletico, netting 33 goals in 240 appearances.
