According to widespread media reports, Premier League giants Manchester United are allegedly ready to offer Tottenham Hotspur playmaker Christian Eriksen a contract worth £240,000-weekly in a bid to persuade the attacker to join the Old Trafford club in the coming summer.
According to the Mirror, the Red Devils are ready to triple the current wage of Eriksen that stands at £80,000-weekly to try and persuade him to swap Spurs for United, with it also being cited that a move for the Denmark international attacker could set United back about £95million.
The Spurs Superstar would be a brilliant acquisition for the Red Devils, as the 27-year-old attacker has proven year in year out that he’s one of Europe’s best creative attacking midfielders.
The Dane has managed to score 64 goals and created 85 assists in 268 matches for the London based side since his return in 2013, an impressive figure for a midfielder.
The Red devils could welcome a player like the Spurs stars into their side with open arms, as it would take some pressure off Paul Pogba’s shoulders.
The France international midfielder is the Red Devils main creative figure, and has been for a number of seasons now, and we are certain that the Red devils could do with another top class creator in midfield to ease the severe pressure on the former Juventus star in the future.
It’ll be intriguing to see if United manage to be successful in their transfer pursuit of the world class playmaker, as we believe it would be brilliant for the North London club to offload the Danish attacker now with his deal set to run out at the end of next campaign, according to the Mirror.
